Youths across the country have been urged to step forward and prepare to take leadership from current leaders in the 2027 general elections.

Kamwana Foundation Director Samuel Mwanza said time was ripe for the youths to take up leadership and that they should not be cowed.

Mr Mwanza said there should not be a vacuum when aging leaders retire.

"I ask the youth in Matungulu and Kenya in general to be the real change. Let us unite and register as voters so that in 2027 we take up leadership," Mr Mwanza said.

H spoke on Monday while addressing a church forum in Kinyui Salvation Army Church in Matungulu constituency.

He said the youths were now enlightened more than ever before.

Mr Mwanza also said his foundation had a school feeding programme for all candidates sitting for the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) in Matungulu constituency.

He urged the youths to shun drugs and other vices that may ruin their future.
