A male youth introducing himself as nephew to Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua by virtue of being son to the late Nderitu Gachagua has come out to clearly state that his embattled uncle taught him business acumen.

Mr Ken Nderitu has urged people to stop using his family's loss and bereavement as a means to make relevant or propagate their fledgling political career.

In a post on X responding to Robert Alai, Ken confirmed that his uncle--DP--taught him how to do business.

His father was the first Governor of Nyeri County.

“I'm right here. My uncle has taught me a lot about business, the estate of my late father has been handled in a way he would have been satisfied with,” Ken posted.

Mr Alai who is the Kileleshwa MCA had shared a video of the funeral service of the first Nyeri Governor in which the current DP in eulogising his late brother, had promised to continue guiding his children.

“Where is Ken Nderitu? He is over 35 years old now. He asked Rigathi to teach him how to run family business but he is nowhere to support his case,” Mr Alai had posed.

DP Gachagua is in the Senate where he will know his fate by the end of the day on whether his impeachment will be upheld or dismissed.

Wednesday was the first day of his impeachment trial at the Senate and Thursday (today) is the final day where he will know his fate.
