Coca-Cola has launched its highly anticipated 2024 Christmas Caravan Tour, bringing a festive celebration of kindness, togetherness, and community spirit to towns and cities across Kenya.
The campaign, inspired by the joy of Santa Claus, promises to create unforgettable moments and reward loyal customers with exciting giveaways throughout December.
The tour began with much fanfare at the Coca-Cola Beverages Africa (CCBA) plant in Embakasi, Nairobi.
The caravan has been visiting markets nationwide, including Nyeri County, spreading the magic of the season and reminding Kenyans of the importance of sharing joy and building connections.
As part of the festivities, Coca-Cola is offering giveaways to brighten the holidays for its customers. These include live goats, chickens, fish, flour, and festive gift hampers—all intended to help families create memorable holiday meals and moments of togetherness.
“It’s not Christmas until Coca-Cola says so. Today, we officially usher in the festive season and invite everyone to join hands, share a Coke, and spread the joy of the holidays together,” said Ampher Apidi, Experiential Marketing Manager at Coca-Cola Beverages Africa in Kenya, during a caravan in Nyeri town.
The Christmas Caravan campaign underscores Coca-Cola’s belief in the “Real Magic” of human connections, encouraging Kenyans to embrace their inner Santa by performing simple acts of kindness.
“Christmas at Coca-Cola has always been about more than just festivities – it’s about celebrating the power of togetherness,” Apidi added. “This year, we aim to foster cheer and unity by delivering magical, kindness-filled experiences to communities across Kenya.”
To amplify the festive spirit, Coca-Cola has partnered with malls and supermarkets nationwide, ensuring a lively holiday atmosphere wherever the caravan stops.
“I am happy today because I have been rewarded by Coca-Cola. I have been awarded several gifts which will help me to celebrate Christmas with my family,” Mary Njeri, a resident of Nyeri town, said.
With Christmas and the New Year – two of Kenya’s most cherished holidays – just around the corner, Coca-Cola’s message is clear: the real spirit of Christmas lies in the joy we share and the connections we nurture.
The company invites all Kenyans to join the celebration, spread kindness, and make this holiday season truly unforgettable.
