The Bishop said true faith is about helping others.
Catholic Diocese of Machakos Bishop Norman King'oo has urged society to help in the education of children from poor families so as to attain their dreams.
Bishop King'oo, who is set to retire this year, said in his early days he helped to educate many children and has never lacked resources as God has continued to bless him through other people.
Speaking on Sunday at Kinyui Catholic Church in Matungulu Constituency, the Bishop said true faith was about helping others.
"I educated many young people in my early days and I have never lacked," he said.
He urged privileged neighbours to assist children from the neighbourhood who may be facing challenges in financing their education.
"There are many things we can do but I assure you if you help a needy neighbour you will never lack resources. We can do something for someone," he said.
Bishop King'oo called on the faithful to forgive and tolerate each other for peaceful coexistence.

The retiring Machakos bishop shared how aiding others in education has ensured he never lacked resources from God.
At the same time, addressing the faithful at the church, Matungulu MP Stephen Mule asked the youth in the Ukambani region to apply for and get National ID cards in readiness for the 2027 General Election.
He lamented that the youth always fail to get ID cards and voters cards in time and yet complain afterwards that elections have been rigged.
''We have the numbers to change the political direction of this country as long as all those who have attained the age of 18 years and above acquire IDs and register as voters,'' said the lawmaker, who is also a doctor.
