Isaack Hassan among Ruto's nominees for plum State jobs

Former Independent and Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) chairperson Isaack Hassan is among individuals that have been nominated by President William Ruto to head key Constitutional Commissions and other State agencies.
Mr Hassan has been nominated to chair the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (Ipoa) Board.
Seven(7) others were nominated to be members of the board.
The Head of State has also nominated former Starehe MP Charles Njagua alias Jaguar as a member of the Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ) board alongside Ms Dorothy Jemator Kimengech.
Mr Charles Orinda Dulo was named as the board's chairperson nominee.
Former Isiolo Woman Representative Rehema Jaldesa has been nominated to chair the National Gender Equality Commission (NGEC) board. Mr Michael Mbithuka was nominated a member of the board.
Dr Ruto further named Mr Sammy Chepkwony as the chairperson nominee for Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC). Six(6) others were nominated as members of the board.
The President nominated Mr Gerald Nyaoma as Deputy Governor of Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
"The nominations were preceded by recommendations received from the selective selection panel appointed to identify nominees for appointment to the respective Constitutional Commissions," read a press release sent to newsrooms by Head of Public Service and Chief of Staff Felix Koskei.
