The management encouraged the students to remain focused and continue aiming higher as they progress to the next stage of their academic journey.
It was joy and dance as Lake Bogoria Spa Resort in Baringo County celebrated two students under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme after they posted impressive results in the 2025 Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) exams.
The students, Donald Biwott and Devine Jemosop Kiprono, each attained a Mean Grade of B– (Minus) in the national examinations.
The two are beneficiaries of the Lake Bogoria Spa Resort CSR Programme, which supports education for bright and deserving learners from the local community.
According to Lake Bogoria Spa Resort General Manager Lydia Dentewo, the strong performance by the students reaffirms its commitment to investing in education as a pillar of community empowerment and sustainable development.
“The success of our CSR beneficiaries is a clear indication that targeted support in education can nurture future leaders and transform lives,” said Ms Dentewo.
The management encouraged the students to remain focused and continue aiming higher as they progress to the next stage of their academic journey.
Lake Bogoria Spa Resort has, over the years, sustained various community-based initiatives, with education featuring prominently as part of its broader social responsibility agenda in Baringo County.
The resort congratulated the two students on their achievement and wished them well as they prepare for higher education and future opportunities.
Meanwhile, little known schools in the county impressed in the 2025 KCSE results even as perennial academic giants continue to fall by the way side.
An analysis of the overall school ranking showed that Tanyilel Girls emerged tops after posting a mean score of 9.1, while Moi High Kabartonjo emerged second with a mean score of 8.9.
Others included: The Tiaty School (8.9), Maron Secondary (8.7), Kolowa High School (8.3),
Ossen Girls National ( 8.2) while Kinyach Secondary School and Amaya Boarding and Day School a mean score of 8.2 and 7.8 respectively.
Perennial academic giants like Kabarnet Boys and Tenges Boys High School were however far below with a mean score of 6.8 and 5.5 respectively.
