Kenya’s Harambee Stars will meet Madagascar in the quarter-finals of the African Nations Championship (CHAN 2024), having topped Group “A” with a hard-fought unbeaten run.

At the Moi International Sports Centre, Kasarani, Harambee Stars edged Zambia 1–0 courtesy of a 75th-minute strike by Ryan Ogam, who expertly converted a pass from Boniface Muchiri.

The lone goal secured Kenya the top spot in the group.

Meanwhile, at Nyayo National Stadium, Morocco advanced at the expense of DR Congo, winning 3–1.

Oussama Lamlioui opened the scoring, DR Congo replied through Jephte Kitambala just before half-time, but Morocco pulled ahead again via a Mohamed Hrimat penalty, before Lamlioui sealed victory late in the game.
