Kabete National Polytechnic set to hold its 5th graduation ceremony

Kabete National Polytechnic is set to host its much-anticipated 5th graduation ceremony, marking yet another milestone in its illustrious history of shaping Kenya’s future professionals.
The ceremony, scheduled to take place on December 11, 2024, at the institution’s main campus grounds, will celebrate the achievements of thousands of graduates drawn from various disciplines.
This year’s theme, “Skills for sustainability and progress,” underscores the institution’s commitment to equipping students with practical skills and innovative thinking to address contemporary challenges.
Speaking to AVDelta News ahead of the event, the institution’s Chief Principal Patrick Muchemi expressed his pride in the accomplishments of the graduating class.
“This cohort has demonstrated resilience, creativity, and dedication despite the challenges posed by the ever-changing global landscape. They leave here not just with qualifications but as innovators and problem-solvers ready to contribute meaningfully to society,” Mr Muchemi said.
Kabete National Polytechnic which prides in being a Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA), Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (CDACC) and Kenya National Qualifications Authority (KNQA) accredited center.
The event is set to attract an array of distinguished guests, including industry leaders, government officials and alumni, who will join proud families and friends in celebrating the graduates’ success.
Cabinet Secretary for Education Julius Migos Ogamba is expected to grace the occasion as the chief guest and deliver a keynote address highlighting the critical role of technical education in Kenya’s development agenda under Vision 2030.
