Prof Fred Ogola has launched the Hekima Alliance Party, declaring that Kenya no longer has the over 40 tribes, but just two(2)--the the looted and the looters.
“Forget all that. Kenya has only two(2) tribes--the looted and the looters,” Prof Ogola told a stunned crowd.
“And the looted have the numbers. If they stop queuing for handouts and queue at the ballot, they can win this country back.”
The don, known for his sharp economic critiques, said the looted form the majority and must unite politically to reclaim the country.
“If the looted stop lining up for handouts and queue to vote, they can defeat the looters,” said Prof Ogola.
He also unveiled EVOLVE, a six-point economic plan focused on reviving industries, job creation, and public sector reforms.
The economic blueprint is a plan to whip Kenya’s economy into shape. It promises to:
Resurrect dying industries like textiles, sugar, and tourism.
Tap into the blue economy, mining, and green jobs (no, not painting buildings green).
Empower youth and women without turning it into a dance competition.
End the national addiction to imported toothpicks.
And remind people that “local content” doesn’t mean just watching Papa Shirandula reruns.
The party, headquartered in Taveta, promises a transparent nomination process, free from cash and bedroom deals.
Prof Ogola criticised government waste, citing inflated car servicing bills and shady tenders, and said Hekima Alliance will push for a welfare state where citizens are prioritized over foreign interests.
“Why are government cars being serviced at Toyota Kenya for KSh 300,000 a month?” he asked. “Are they being given new engines and a carwash with imported mineral water?” he posed.
With the slogan HAPA--Hekima Alliance Party of Action--the new party is rallying Kenyans fed up with “kiosk politics and looting cartels".
