KCSE 2025: Top performers from Caring Hearts schools receive laptops, cash

Mr Gabriel Kimetu said the prize-giving event will encourage current students at Caring Hearts schools to work hard in their studies.
Two schools, Caring Hearts Boys High School and Caring Hearts Girls High School, in Kangundo and Matungulu Sub-counties, have awarded their best students for dedication and hard work during the schools’ yearly prize-giving day with the theme “Celebration of Excellence”.
Addressing parents on Saturday during the prize-giving day for candidates who performed well in Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE 2025) exams, the principal of the Boys’ school, Gabriel Kimetu, said the event was to encourage current students at the institutions and to inspire them to work hard in their studies.
KCSE top performers from both the Boys’ and Girls’ schools, were rewarded with laptops and cash during the ceremony.
“Our school director Dr Vincent Kituku recognises students who work hard and perform well by rewarding them every year,” he added.
The boys’ school continued its strong performance in KCSE exams, with two students scoring grade A, seven A-, 12 B+, 23 B, 30 B-, 16 C+ while five others scored C.
The girls’ school achieved almost similar results with minor differences. Two girls scored grade A, seven A-, 10 B+, 10 B, 15 B-, 8 C+ while five others scored C.
“Class 2025, both boys and girls, did us proud because they passed well and all of them will be joining universities,” he added.
Speaking during the occasion, the Girls’ Principal Ms Ann Katuku urged both boys and girls to work hard in order to achieve their dreams.
The owner of the schools, Dr Kituku, who lives in the United States, has been sponsoring students from needy families to attend various schools over the years.
His schools are famous for producing some of the best male and female brains in the country.
