Man City triumph over Ipswich, Spurs and West Ham secure wins

In an action-packed weekend of English Premier League (EPL) football, reigning champions Manchester City secured a 4-1 victory over newly promoted Ipswich Town.
Sam Szomodics opened the scoring for Ipswich in the 7th minute, assisted by Ben Johnson.
However, Erling Haaland swiftly equalised with a penalty in the 12th minute.
Haaland's brilliant form continued as he completed a hat-trick, sealing the win with his third goal in the 88th minute, ensuring City's dominance.
Kevin De Bruyne also contributed to the scoreline.
This win saw Man City overtake Brighton & Hove Albion to go top of the EPL table. Brighton had earlier on beaten Manchester United 2-1. Goals by Danny Welbeck in the 32nd minute and Joao Pedro in the 90+5 minute saw Brighton overcome Man U. Amad Diallo scored in the 60th minute to give Man U a consolation pat on the back.
Elsewhere, West Ham secured a 2-0 victory against Crystal Palace.
Thomas Soucek broke the deadlock in the 67th minute, followed by Jarrod Bowen's goal in the 72nd minute, assisted by Maximilian Kilman.
Fulham triumphed 2-1 over Leicester City, with Emile Smith Rowe marking his debut with a goal, while Alex Iwobi added another for Fulham.
Leicester’s Wout Faes managed to score, but it wasn’t enough to secure points for the Foxes.
Southampton, another newly promoted side, suffered a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest, with Morgan Gibbs-White scoring the decisive goal in the 70th minute.
Meanwhile, Tottenham Hotspur delivered an emphatic 4-0 win against Everton. Yves Bissouma opened the scoring in the 14th minute, followed by two goals from Son Heung-min.
Christian Romero sealed the victory with a goal in the 71st minute.
Saturday’s football action wrapped up with Arsenal defeating Aston Villa 2-0. Substitute Leandro Trossard opened the scoring in the 67th minute, followed by Thomas Partey's goal in the 77th minute, marking his 96th appearance for the club and his sixth goal for the team.
The weekend's fixtures highlighted the strength of the Premier League heavyweights, with Manchester City and Tottenham shining while newly promoted teams continue to adjust to the top-flight challenge.
