Residents of Kapseret treated to memorable Christmas by area MP Oscar Sudi

The MP, who personally presided over the distribution of the foodstuffs at his home, promised to continue assisting the less fortunate.

Residents of Kapseret Constituency in Uasin Gishu County were treated to memorable festive season after area MP Oscar Sudi donated foodstuffs and other assorted items to the locals.

Mr Sudi, who personally presided over the distribution of the foodstuffs at his home, promised to continue assisting the less fortunate in the society.

"The true spirit of Christmas is about sharing and making sure that everyone has something to celebrate," said Mr Sudi.

He urged other Kenyans to assist the less fortunate in the society by sharing the little they have with them.

"In the spirit of giving, I was fortunate enough to share some food stuff with the families in my constituency. Let's make this Christmas a season of joy for everyone," said Mr Sudi.

The outspoken legislator--a close ally to President William Ruto--was last week awarded an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Leadership, Administration, and Management by Northwestern Christian University.

The MP was recognized during the University's graduation held at the The Eldoret National Polytechnic.

Others who were honoured by the University included former Bahati MP Kimani Ngunjiri and Sirisia MP John Waluke.

While receiving the Honorary Degree, Mr Sudi thanked the University for recognizing his efforts to uplifting the living standards of Kapseret residents.

"I am deeply honoured to receive an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Leadership, Administration, and Management from Northwestern Christian University at The Eldoret National Polytechnic. This recognition underscores the limitless nature of education—it truly has no limits," said Mr Sudi.

Northwestern Christian University Dean Cyprus Otieno congratulated all the graduants who were honoured, adding that the institution will continue recognizing those who have contributed to the well-being of the community. .

"Congratulations on this remarkable milestone. May your journeys ahead be impactful and inspiring," said Mr Otieno.
