“Early this morning, a building under construction collapsed in the Shopping Centre area of South C, Nairobi County. A multi-agency response team is on site managing the situation,” the Kenya Red Cross said.
Details on casualties, injuries or possible occupants trapped under the rubble were not immediately available.
Emergency responders have cordoned off the area as rescue and assessment operations continue.
