Kangundo MP Fabian Kyule has asked the police to move with speed and establish whether there are Kenyans who have been abducted or are missing and bring to book those responsible for the crimes.

Mr Kyule, who is also the party leader of GDDP party, said it is easy to locate missing persons in Kenya and there was no need for speculation as to the whereabouts of missing persons.

Addressing the media at his home as the world ushered in the New Year 2025, Mr Kyule also asked Kenyans to report any suspicious activities in their neighborhood so as to help the police in apprehending criminals.

"There have been reports of missing persons and some are said to have been abducted. We ask the Inspector General of Police to move faster. We need to have the right information," said Mr Kyule.

The MP also asked residents to desist from exchanging abuses on social media platforms, adding that such behaviour would not help the region and Kenya at large to develop.

"There are lots of insults in our local WhatsApp groups. When we abuse each other, how will we be able to come together and develop our region?"posed Mr Kyule who is also a lawyer.

Several Kenyans have in the recent past gone missing, sparking demonstrations in some parts of the country as it happened on December 30, 2024.
